Course Description
The Gospel Care Collective offers ABC Level 2 Certificate training for students who have completed and received their ABC Level 1 Certificate. Our certificate preparation and training offers 5 core components that will provide students all they need to successfully complete ABC requirements. Through The Gospel Care Collective students will receive further training, supervision, and group support to help you meet the ABC requirements and solidify the theological framework while developing you into a well equipped counselor. Students will be provided access to a Level 2 Online classroom for assignments and resources. This course can be accomplished completely online. The program includes:

- Biblical Counseling Exam Prep
- Theology Exam Prep
- Biblical Counseling Practicum with Individual & Group Supervision (100 hours)
- 12 Units of Biblical Counseling Education
- Evaluation and Recommendation
These five core components of the Level 2 preparation are unique to The Gospel Care Collective. No other ABC Level 2 Certification program provides this level of expert training and equipping. In addition to this training, because our training is offered in a cohort setting, students gain a community of other biblical counselors who will be a supportive resource in the years ahead. Many students find that the connections made in these cohorts serve to be a vital support in their future counseling ministry.
Requirements
- Complete 100 hours of counseling consisting of 20hrs observation of counseling, 20hrs of counseling that will be supervised, 60hrs of counseling with supervision as needed. You will have 2 years to complete the hours required.
- Participate in your cohort to learn and grow including meetings with the Supervisor to discuss cases.
- Complete Theology and Counseling study and exams
- Complete 12 hours of Biblical Counseling Education
